Confident God Had A Plan

The story of Jared Frame and his family is one of the stories shared in For A Purpose: Hope in a Broken World. The Frames have walked a road that none of us would ever want to venture down. Darren and Becky lost their son and Andrew lost his brother and his best friend. In our interviews with them they share their hearts, their struggles and their walks with the Lord. All in the hope of helping others and bringing glory to Christ.
Jared lived his life with purpose. A purpose forged by trials. As a child, doctors discovered a heart defect. While still a young boy, Jared underwent open heart surgery. Because of the challenges he faced, he knew what it meant to trust God when the future was uncertain. How to trust God with the outcome.
Of his brother, Andrew Frame shares, "He never seemed too confused about where he was going or what God might be doing. He was always moving forward and confident that God had a plan and, I think because of the open heart surgery if I had to guess, would say, I'm here for a reason. I could have been gone already but God kept me here."
Indeed, Jared was here for a reason and God continues to use him. His story and that of his family is part of the bigger story being woven together in For A Purpose so that many more might see how God can work in our hearts through pain and brokenness and point us to the one who was broken for us. We live in a broken world, but Jesus reminds us in John 16:33 "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart; I have overcome the world."
Jared knew what real hope was and it was something greater than this world. It was nine years ago today that Jared ran ahead to heaven. I look forward to meeting him one day. I'm thankful to the Frames for opening up their hearts and lives to help others by sharing their story in For A Purpose: Hope In A Broken World. Their story and the story of God working in their lives will be a blessing and a help to so many!

Thank you for sharing Jared's story on his 9th "Heaven-versary". Our family misses him every day and we continue to choose to trust that God's plans for Jared's and all of our lives are best, even when they feel hard. We're so grateful that we know He is with Jesus and that we will be with Jared again someday. God continues to sustain us and use us as so many friends and family continue to pray for us, for which we are so thankful. We pray that God will use For A Purpose to touch many hurting people and redeem their suffering for His glory in their lives.
What is special family this is and how precious their little boys were. They made a big impact on us when raising our young children through their gift of teaching and friendship. May God continue to bless others through their sacrifice and obedience. Our hearts and prayers are with their family often especially at the beginning of August every year.
